Over 80% of all iPhone 17 cases sold are made for the Pro and Pro Max models
Canadian accessories brand dbrand shared its latest sales data with tech reviewer Marques Brownlee (MKBHD).
According to the company, 56.5% of all cases sold from its new lineup were made for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, while another 31.2% were for the iPhone 17 Pro.
The story isn’t as bright for the iPhone 17 Air, which accounted for just 5% of total case sales – a rather modest figure for Apple’s thinnest new model.
It appears that neither the aluminum body’s scratch controversy nor the appeal of the more affordable entry-level iPhone 17 has stopped most consumers from choosing Apple’s top-tier Pro models this year.
Still, these numbers should be taken with caution. While dbrand is a popular brand in the United States – with products available through major retailers like Best Buy and Walmart – its data doesn’t represent the entire market, and Apple’s official case sales figures remain unknown.
