Which iPads are eligible to receive the iPadOS 26 update?

The seventh-generation iPad (2019), powered by the Apple A10 chip, is no longer eligible for the update. All other models will support multitasking and windowed apps in iPadOS 26.

List of supported models:

– iPad Air (M2 and later)
– iPad Air (3rd generation and later)
– iPad (A16)
– iPad (8th generation and later)
– iPad mini (A17 Pro)
– iPad mini (5th generation and later)
